Plant-based works for people from all walks of life and we love seeing how everyone incorporates Soulara into their diets. So, we were excited to catch up with plant-based fashion stylist, designer, creative artist, and blogger Tabitha Galvin, owner of clothing label La Zingara Studio. Here’s what Tabitha’s day on a plate looks like.
Upon Waking
Most mornings I go for a run around 6.30am so beforehand I will eat half a banana and drink hot lemon water to kick start my digestion system.
Breakfast
I love breakfast so I am always alternating between a variety of healthy options. Some days I will make a green smoothie with kale, spinach, frozen banana, avocado (makes it extra creamy!), and peanut butter for protein, all blended with almond milk. Or [I’ll have] porridge made on almond milk served with fresh berries and trail mix. I add collagen powder into my smoothies to assist with stimulating skin cells and repairing damage/scarring.
Lunch
For lunch I will usually save a container of leftovers from the night before, but if M am stocked up on Soulara meals those will be my lunches for the week. My absolute favourite meal from the Soulara menu for lunch would have to be the Celestial Chickpea Detox Bowl (YUM!!).
Afternoon snack
In the afternoon I usually have some carrots and hummus or if I am out and about I will grab a sushi roll.
Late afternoon snack
I go to gym in the late afternoon for an hour so if i need an energy boost beforehand I will have a protein ball. Obsessed with Soulara’s Reishi Cacao Bliss Bites!
Dinner
For dinner I usually cook up a big green buddha bowl with broccolini, asparagus, edamame beans, kale, spinach, avocado, tofu and quinoa. If I have Soulara for dinner my favourite meal on the menu would have to be the Palak Tofu & Turmeric Rice; so flavoursome and filling!
Post Dinner
I usually jump into bed with either a cup of peppermint tea to help with digestion or a chamomile tea to help me relax and unwind. As for a sweet treat I love dark chocolate or I will have a small bowl of granola with coconut yoghurt.
