Caramello frappe

Caramello Frappe made with Soulara Holy Cacao Almond Mylk

When the weather warms up, there’s nothing more refreshing than an ice-cold frappe. Our homemade version using our Holy Cacao Almond Mylk is not only delicious, but also gives your body a healthy dose of magnesium, antioxidants and vitamin E.

Ingredients (makes one)

  • 1 bottle Holy Cacao Almond Mylk
  • 2-3 handfuls of ice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free caramel syrup (we love Natvia Salted Caramel Topping)

Method

  • Combine Holy Cacao Almond Mylk, ice and caramel syrup in a blender and blend until it reaches an icy, slushy-style consistency – don’t over blend
  • Drizzle caramel syrup around the inside of a glass, before pouring the frappe in and serving with a metal staw

Choc raspberry overnight oats

Choc Raspberry Oats made with Soulara Holy Cacao Almond Mylk

Is there a better flavour pairing than chocolate and raspberry? These overnight oats are so delicious you’ll have a hard time stopping at one, and with plenty of fibre, antioxidants and vitamin E, they’re as guilt-free as they are tasty.

Ingredients (makes two)

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 bottle Holy Cacao Almond Mylk
  • ½ cup coconut yoghurt
  • ½ cup raspberries
  • Optional: shredded coconut, cacao nibs and extra raspberries to garnish

Method

  • In a mixing bowl, combine oats, Holy Cacao Almond Mylk and raspberries
  • Divide between two small bowls
  • Place in fridge for at least two hours or overnight (so the oats have time to absorb the mylk)
  • Once set, enjoy as is or top with a sprinkle of shredded coconut, cacao nibs and raspberries

Choc banana thickshake

Choc Banana Thickshake made with Soulara Banana Bliss Smoothie Almond Mylk

Our take on the classic choc banana thickshake, but plant-based and arguably more delicious. Kids big and small are sure to love this one, and with prebiotics, protein and potassium, their bodies will love it too.

Ingredients (makes two)

  • 1 bottle Banana Bliss Almond Mylk
  • 3 scoops plant-based chocolate ice-cream (we love Oatly Chocolate Ice-Cream)
  • Optional: extra ice-cream and banana slice to garnish

Method

  • Combine Banana Bliss Almond Mylk and plant-based chocolate ice-cream in a blender and blend
  • Divide between two glasses and enjoy as is or garnish with a scoop of plant-based ice-cream, slice of banana and metal straw

PB & banana chia seed pudding

PB & Banana Chia Seed Pudding with Soulara Banana Bliss Almond Mylk

Not just perfect for breakfast, these chia seed puddings made a delicious snack or dessert, and the fibrous chia seeds will leave you feeling full and satisfied. Made using our Banana Bliss Almond Mylk and moreish peanut butter, they’ll be on high rotation in your fridge for sure. We recommend making them in mason jars with lids so you can shake to combine easily, but if you don’t have any jars you can make them in two little bowls and mix together with a spoon instead.

Ingredients (makes two)

  • 5-6 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 bottle of Banana Bliss Almond Mylk
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (we like Mayver’s Smooth Peanut Butter as it’s nice as runny)
  • Half a banana, sliced
  • Optional: extra peanut butter

Method

  • Divide the chia seeds, peanut butter and Banana Bliss Almond Mylk between two mason jars
  • Screw the lids tightly onto the jars and shake to combine
  • Let the mixture sit for five minutes, then shake to combine again
  • Place jars in the fridge (with lids on) for at least 1-2 hours or overnight
  • To serve, remove lid and garnish with sliced banana and a drizzle of peanut butter

Tip: if the mixture isn’t thick after letting setting overnight, try adding more chia seeds, stirring and placing back in the fridge for another half hour.

Cold brew espresso martini

Cold Brew Espresso Martini made with Soulara Creamy Cold Brew Almond Mylk

This one’s for the adults! Treat yourself this festive season with our take on an espresso martini, featuring our Creamy Cold Brew Almond Mylk Latte. You can use either vodka or whisky in this one, with vodka giving you a more traditional espresso martini finish and whisky adding a sweet touch.

  • Half bottle of Creamy Cold Brew Almond Mylk Latte
  • 1 shot coffee liqueur (we love Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur)
  • 1 shot whisky/vodka
  • 2 handfuls ice
  • Optional: pinch of shaved dairy-free chocolate

Method

  • Add the Creamy Cold Brew Almond Mylk Latte, coffee liqueur and whisky or vodka to a cocktail shaker
  • Fill shaker to the top with ice and shake hard until the outside of the shaker is frosted, about 30 seconds
  • Pour into a tall glass over fresh ice and enjoy as is, or with a shaving of dairy-free chocolate over the top
